Luxury group Hermès has calculated that more than 7% of its employees in its home country, France, are people with disabilities. It said the proportion of people with disabilities among its workforce has more than doubled in six years.

Across its factories, Hermès now has around 100 volunteer disability ambassadors who are helping the company integrate people with temporary or long-term disabilities into the workforce.

“Hermès is determined to create an inclusive working environment in which everyone can thrive in an atmosphere of mutual respect,” the company said.
