Cartigliano launches program for aspiring leather technologists
For over 20 years, Cartigliano has proudly hosted students from the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT). This longstanding collaboration has enriched the education of many students, equipping them with practical skills using the companies laboratory’s advanced vacuum dryer and staking machines. These students have gone on to contribute significantly to tanneries worldwide.
However, this year marks the end of the ICLT course, leaving a gap in specialised education within the tanning sector.
In response, Cartigliano is opening its R&D department to students and young professionals interested in advancing their knowledge in leather drying technology.
The program will kick off in 2025 with a week-long course, and participants will be awarded a Certificate of Participation upon successful completion of each weekly session.
