Lagos Leather Fair 2024 to feature 'Pitch-A-Leather-Biz' session
The Lagos Leather Fair (LLF) has announced its 2024 event, highlighting the “Pitch-A-Leather-Biz” session as a key feature. In partnership with Wema Bank, LLF will host this session as the climax of its six-week Accelerator Programme, which runs from early May to mid-June.

The programme aims to support emerging leatherwork entrepreneurs with resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities. At the end of the programme, the top ten finalists will present their business ideas to a panel of four investors at the fair. These finalists will also receive exhibition spaces to showcase their products, gaining significant visibility.

The initiative, which includes up to one million naira ($750) in equity-free funding, focuses on equipping leather businesses with essential skills in branding, marketing, sustainability, and more. The Lagos Leather Fair continues to be a vibrant showcase of Nigeria’s rich leather craftsmanship, fostering innovation and growth in the industry.

The Lagos Leather Fair will be held on June 29 and 30 2024, at the Balmoral, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
