Ecco CEO to deliver ALCA John Arthur Wilson Memorial Lecture
The American Leather Chemists Association (ALCA) will host its 118th Annual Convention from May 21—24, 2024, at Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA.
Notable speakers include Panos Mytaros, CEO of footwear group Ecco, who will deliver the John Arthur Wilson Memorial Lecture.
GSC Group will debut at the ALCA Conference with a study inspired by IULTCS 2022 findings. Focused on leather tanning technologies and their environmental impacts, the study highlights GSC's initiatives for high bio-based content products, aiming for less impactful leathers.
Other speakers include experts from Trumpler, Pangea Made, Smit & Zoon, TFL, Prime Asia Company, Cromogenia, Dow, Technical University in Zvolen, DTB AgriTrade LLP, FDRA, and Stahl Italy.
