APLF exceeded expectations of Brazilian companies
Following the APLF, held in Hong Kong, nine Brazilian companies have reported deals that exceed US$16 million. This figure is more than double that recorded following the 2023 event in Dubai where only US$ 7 million was reported.
According to Aline Santos, Brazilian Association of Leather, Footwear and Components Companies (Assintecal) Marketing and Relationship manager, the facilities for entry into Hong Kong were a major help for potential customers visiting the event.
"Even though the foreign market is still very unstable, business was a positive surprise. Brazilian materials and chemicals are increasingly well regarded by the international market, due to the attributes of quality and sustainability, and this helps a lot in performance.” said Ms Santos.
Important visits were made by major players in the markets of China, India, Indonesia, the United States, Mexico, Thailand, Italy, Vietnam, Pakistan, Turkey, the Philippines, Russia, and Japan.
Companies Systemhaus, Química Carioca, Corium Química, Seta, Master Equipamentos, Noko, Ecovita, Michelon, and Tanac participated in the APLF, supported by Brazilian Materials in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments, ApexBrasil.
