Representatives of major leather manufacturing groups in and around Arzignano have taken part in an initiative to bring new generations of workers into the industry.

On March 19, they took part in an event called Leather Job Talks, which recruitment company Adecco hosted at Arzignano’s technical high school, ITTE Galileo Galilei. Leather technology is one of the study options that students at the school can pursue.

At the Job Talks event, senior students from the chemistry and leather technology programme took the opportunity to ask prospective employers in the local area about the work opportunities available to them in the industry when they complete their studies.
