New Australian subsidiary for Zünd
Cutting technology provider Zünd has formally established a wholly owned subsidiary in Australia. It will be based in Melbourne and will serve existing and new customers.
An existing partnership between Zünd and image-capturing specialist Canon Australia will continue and the two organisations have said they will aim to strengthen the ties between them.
The managing director of Zünd Australia will be Dale Hawkins, who has been involved in introducing Australian customers across various applications to the company’s technology for 15 years.
He said the process of establishing a team of experienced technical personnel at the new head office in Melbourne was already under way.
Chief executive, Oliver Zünd, commented that formally setting up a new subsidiary in Australia would help the Swiss company strengthen its market position there and “further improve advice and customer service”.
