Miroglio elevates with Trussardi acquisition in Italy
Italian fashion group Miroglio has acquired Trussardi for €35m, which includes 15 shops, historical archives, and licensing rights, according to reports by Reuters. The deal is aimed at expanding Miroglio's portfolio and diversifying into leather goods and premium men's clothing.

In 2019, Trussardi was bought by Italian fund Quattro R, which invested €50 million to relaunch the brand. Miroglio, based in Alba, owns 1,100 stores in Italy, Turkey, and the Middle East, generating €500m in revenue and €30m core profit last year.

Miroglio plans to relaunch Trussardi, focusing on Italy, eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Trussardi will remain an independent brand. Palazzo Trussardi, a historic building next to Milan's La Scala opera theatre, may be returned to the family. LVMH is among the parties potentially interested in renting the building.
