Zschimmer & Schwarz group puts APLF plan in place
Chemicals group Zschimmer & Schwarz has announced that its leather auxiliaries division will have a presence at APLF 2024, which takes place in Hong Kong from March 19-21.
It said it views the exhibition as an opportunity to present “tailor-made solutions for the entire leather production process” to leather manufacturers from China and Asian countries.
The highlight of this will be the expanded S-Range of products, the company said, which it said will enhance leather manufacturers’ efforts to make production more sustainable. This product range offers high levels of absorbability, biodegradability and bio-based raw materials, Zschimmer & Schwarz said in the build-up to the event.
It will also have on display new bisphenol-free retanning agents that are suitable for all types of leathers, from soft and fluffy to full and tight, it added.
Leather finishing products from the group’s Samia division, including pigment pastes, dyes, resins, auxiliaries for water-based systems and fixing agents, will also be on show at APLF.
