International push for Futurmoda
The Futurmoda will take place for fifty-first time when it opens its doors on March 13 and 14. The IFA Fira Alacant exhibition centre in Alicante will be the venue.
Exhibitors will include 68 manufacturers and suppliers of leather, 42 of them from Spain.
There will be 19 leather suppliers from Italy, three from Portugal, two from Germany and one from Turkey.
Other sectors that will have their product ranges on show include footwear components, machinery and chemicals.
The organisers said regional trade promotions body Ivace had been working to bring visitors from Poland and Vietnam to Spain for the event. For previous editions of Futurmoda, Ivace has worked to attract visitors from Germany, France and the UK. This is the first time Poland and Vietnam have been included in its programme.
