New issue of World Leather available

This new issue includes a Leather Leaders interview with Rajendra Kumar Jalan. Mr Jalan, chairman of India’s Council for Leather Exports, tells us that tensions in the industry’s relationship with the government there have eased and that perceptions of leather are now much more positive among policy-makers.
Our Technology section brings analysis of what this new relationship will mean for leather export targets in India. The same section also includes an important round-up of innovations that technology providers have in the pipeline, plus details of ongoing developments in the use in tanning of waste from the olive oil sector.
