Lineapelle has opened its doors in Milan. This is the 103rd edition of the event, which continues until February 22.

Organisers UNIC said 1,167 exhibitors were taking part in the event, comprising tanneries,  leather chemicals developers, finished product manufacturers, components suppliers and makers of other textiles. These exhibitors represent a total of 43 countries.

Specialist consultancy Spin360 organised a series of science-based talks at Lineapelle, with speakers seeking to address a number of important current topics affecting the leather industry from a factual and scientific point of view. The talks were exceptionally well attended, with standing-room only at most.
