Paris-based high-end belt brand Vaincourt has paid tribute to the skill and expertise of the artisans who make its products, as well as the creativity of its design team.

It made the comments on launching a new collection for autumn-winter 2024-2025 in time for fashion-week presentations in February and March.

Vaincourt said its recipe for success consists of “luxurious, sensuous and well sourced materials” combined with “a solid base of creativity, a pinch of daring and a generous measure of French artisanal skill”.

Its belts are all handmade in France from leather the company sources from tanneries in France, Italy and Spain. Traditional workshops in Paris and in Italy provide the buckles, most of which are made from brass.
