India’s Council for Leather Exports (CLE) has announced Rajendra Kumar Jalan as the new Chairman of the council.

RK Jalan, who has 47 years of experience in the leather industry,  took over as the Chairman of the CLE at the 178th Committee of Administration meeting held recently in New Delhi.

He succeeded the incumbent Chairman, Sanjay Leekha. Prior to this, Mr Jalan served as the Vice Chairman of CLE and Chairman from 2013 to 2015.
