Bridge of Weir establishes new Advanced Design Studio
Scottish leather manufacturer Bridge of Weir has announced the opening of a new Advanced Design Studio in Warwick, which aims to expand and accelerate the capabilities of leather as an automotive interior material.
Staffed by leading material specialists, work will centre on bringing these developments closer to Bridge of Weir's customers such as Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Polestar, and McLaren, as well as new customers.
The studio complements the company's tannery in Scotland and offers automotive OEM teams a chance to engage more frequently with Bridge of Weir's experienced designers.
The studio's specialists will focus on the latest leather trends, new finishes, surface-decoration processes, embossing and digital printing, and sustainable innovations.
