Assomac to appoint new general manager
Agostino Apolito has been appointed as the general manager of Assomac starting from January 2024. He has a vast experience in the Confederation of Industry, having previously served as the deputy director of Confindustria Firenze between 2016 and 2022. In his new role at Assomac, he will assist the presidency in defining and achieving strategic objectives for member companies.
As the general manager, Mr Apolito will be responsible for promoting technologies and their communication, developing sector policies to enhance member companies' heritage, and ensuring that ‘Made with Italian Technology’ becomes a symbol of high quality standards and sustainability.
Assomac said it was grateful to Roberto Vago for his valuable contribution and hard work in the role over the years.
