EcoVadis Platinum for Royal Smit and Zoon
Leather chemicals group Royal Smit & Zoon has recently received an EcoVadis Platinum rating, achieving an overall score of 82 out of 100, with 90 for environment, 80 for ethics, 80 for labour and human rights, and 60 for sustainable procurement, putting the company in the top 1% of the 75,000 assessed organisations worldwide,
The Platinum rating is 15 points higher than the one received in 2022, and was seen to be a significant improvement from the gold rating in 2022 and 2021.
