Christie’s New York auctions rare and exceptional handbags
An online auction for rare and exceptional handbags from luxury brands like Hermès, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton, along with men's handbags and fashion jewellery from Chanel is being held by Christie's New York.
The auction will end on December 12 and includes a selection of costume jewellery from Chanel that is being sold without reserve.
Among the highlights of the auction is Hermès' "The Rock" HAC Birkin bag, which is the first Birkin bag ever crafted for men, estimated to be worth $40,000-50,000, and a Sterling Silver Kelly which is one of the rarest pieces created by Hermès, estimated to be worth $100,000-200,000.
Another notable piece is the Shiny Black Porosus Crocodile Sellier Kelly 25 (pictured) with 18k white gold & diamond hardware, estimated to be worth $150,000-200,000.
