Arlei wins social recognition award
Argentinian tanning group Arlei was recently honoured with an Ecumenical Social Forum Award for their dedication and efforts towards improving the living conditions of the community.
The award recognises individuals and organisations that have made notable contributions to the community, as decided by teachers and specialists. This year, the Forum aimed to select the top 50 organisations that best meet the international standards for socially responsible policies.
The evaluation committees for the awards were composed of 74 professors from Argentine universities and other countries in Latin America and Europe. In their reports, they acknowledged the importance of companies developing social responsibility policies that meet the needs of society.
The awards ceremony, which saw an attendance of 300 people, was held at the Borges Cultural Centre on November 16.
