Team from SLG to present Muirhead leather in “rail powerhouse”
A team from Scottish Leather Group company Muirhead travelled to Japan for railway technology exhibition Mass-Trans Innovation Japan 2023, with the show taking place in Chiba, near Tokyo, from November 8-10.
In the build-up to the event, Muirhead described Japan as “a high-speed rail powerhouse” and said its team was looking forward to the opportunity to present the company’s leather upholstery options to key decision-makers in the Japanese rail sector.
It said its high-performance leather was made to withstand the rigours of high-speed rail travel while maintaining its beauty and quality.
Because Scottish Leather Group presents its material as having the lowest carbon impact of any leather in the world, it said Muirhead products would align with Japan’s dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
It said the products were designed to enhance the travel experience and add “a touch of sophistication” to high-speed rail interiors.
