The US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) has taken beef trucks on tour in Mexico in an attempt to convince decision-makers there to put US beef on their menus.

Beef exports from the US to Mexico are up by 17% in volume and by 25% in value so far this year.

As part of its efforts to grow this market further, USMEF said its trucks had so far been able to offer samples and recipe ideas to more than 800 decision-makers in Mexico’s hotel and restaurant sector.
