Rino Mastrotto expands fabric diversification
The Rino Mastrotto Group has acquired jacquard and furnishings fabric manufacturer Imatex, based in the Lombardy region of Italy. This is the second fabric manufacturer to be included in the group following the majority stake acquisition of Tessitura Oreste Mariani, also based in Lombardy, in 2022.
In a company statement, CEO Matteo Mastrotto said: “The investment in Imatex allows us to continue with the diversification path started with the entry of NB Renaissance.
“Thanks to Imatex, we expand our offer in the interior design sector, providing our customers with a complete portfolio of articles and solutions and confirming our positioning as a unique partner for the luxury industry.”
Recent years have seen strategic diversification in the group with the acquisition of Italian and foreign companies, including Nuova Osba, Carroll Leather, and Morelab.
