Boost for Hyundai circular economy programme
Automotive group Hyundai has relaunched a circular economy initiative that it first introduced to its business in Europe in 2019 in a programme called Re:Style.
Working now with fashion designers Jeremy Scott and Maria Cornejo, Hyundai has said its aim with this project is to make sure that, at the end of a car’s life on the road, everything that would have been discarded until now “is given a new life”.
Early results have included a collection of accessories that use a variety of materials, including leather used in seat covers in Hyundai vehicles.
