Bentley Motors driving gloves celebrate Continental GT milestone
To mark two decades of the Continental GT, Bentley Motors has partnered with Forestalgia, a London-based design studio, to create a limited edition pair of driving gloves. The handmade gloves feature surplus leather and recycled materials from the iconic Bentley Motors Factory in Crewe, and their colour palette mirrors the optional interior colours of the Continental GT.
The Bentley and Forestalgia gloves are crafted with double-stitched reinforced protective panelling, hand-rolled leather edges, and ergonomic perforation. Bentley’s craftspeople, usually accustomed to working on the leather that encases the GT steering wheel, employ numerous crafts techniques to ensure uniformity in the meticulous stitching pattern used and take over four weeks to make each glove by hand.
