Special boots on sale for $1.40 per pair
Footwear brand Wolverine is celebrating 140 years of its involvement in the work boot industry by giving 140 people the opportunity to buy special anniversary pairs of its 1000 Mile Boot for $1.40.
Customers have a chance to apply online from September 29 until October 16 to buy a pair. Those who are unsuccessful will still have a chance to buy the boots, but for the real retail price of $415.
Wolverine’s 1000 Mile boots are handcrafted in the US, featuring Wolverine Boots' vintage logo on the tongue, antique brass hardware, and a premium Horween leather upper with a "Wolverine 1000 Mile" stamp on the collar and "Since 1883" indented into the sole and lining.
Each pair comes with a custom boot bag and a special 140th Anniversary hangtag.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the past, present, and future of our brand,” said president of the group’s work footwear division, Tom Kennedy.
