Technical committee term extension for LHCA president

Leather and Hide Council of America president, Stephen Sothmann, has been reappointed to a US government advisory group on trade in animals and animal products.

Mr Sothmann is one of 70 members of seven separate technical advisory committees to have been reappointed by the US Department of Agriculture and the US Trade Representative. They are joined by 130 new appointees and will serve until August 2027.

In Mr Sothmann’s case, he will serve as part of the 36-person technical committee on animals and animal products.
