Closer ties for leather and beef associations in Brazil

Brazil’s national tanning industry association CICB has signed a new co-operation agreement with the country’s beef exporters’ association, ABIEC.

CICB said the agreement would bring Brazil’s leather and meat sectors closer than ever in their joint work on finding sustainable solutions.

The partners said they would concentrate on carrying out joint research and setting up projects to help companies across the leather and beef sectors improve in environmental performance and traceability.
