Aldo charged with refreshing Brooks Brothers’ footwear
Brand development platform Authentic Brands has appointed Aldo Group to launch an expanded assortment of men’s footwear and small leathergoods for US fashion label Brooks Brothers, which it bought in 2020.

ABG operates a licensing model for brand names, and in May announced Aldo would be taking over the design production and distribution for Ted Baker footwear, as well as its handbags at wholesale in the US and Canada.

Jonathan Frankel, presidentof Aldo Product Services, said: “This relationship will help unlock the full possibilities of the Brooks Brothers brand in the footwear and bags categories – pulling from their deep heritage while combining fresh and creative ideas.”

Brooks Brothers’ new men’s collections will launch in stores in February 2024 and will be distributed in department stores, specialty retailers, Brooks Brothers stores and e- commerce in the US and Canada.

Authentic’s portfolio includes Reebok, Ted Baker, Hunter, Hervé Léger, Vince Camuto, Nine West and Volcom.
