TFL to address leather legal requirements at ALCA annual convention
This year’s annual convention of the American Leather Chemists Association (ALCA) will include a presentation from the head of wet-end products at leather chemicals firm TFL, Chris Tysoe.
He will give an insight into solutions that TFL believes will help tanners meet current legislation requirements and go “above and beyond” them.
Tanners around the world face “serious challenges”, but also huge new growth opportunities, TFL said in the build-up to the event. It said it was well positioned to guide customers to meet legislation requirements and also to “reap rewards on the path to sustainable natural leather”.
ALCA’s annual convention will take place in Wisconsin from June 20-23; Mr Tysoe’s presentation will be on the afternoon of June 21.
