Schill and Seilacher making digital investment
German leather chemicals company Schill and Seilacher has announced the implementation of a new digital software system to drive forward their digitalisation strategy, with the aim of strengthening competitiveness.
The SAP S/4HANA and Success Factors, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, is a software system that helps to support automation and various processes in areas such as finance, HR, and manufacturing, optimising the efficient use of resources and helps to improve transparency and monitoring of processes, and reactions to market changes.
In a statement posted on social media, the company said :“This investment will help us to increase customer and partner satisfaction and further expand our position as a leading company in the chemical industry”.
Adding “Our partners will benefit from even better service and faster responsiveness.”
