Bentley Motors has reported its second-best quarter ever. Its revenues for the first quarter of 2023 were €882 million, an increase of 9% compared to the same quarter in 2022. Bentley reported record sales figures in 2022.

In the first three months of this year, it sold 3,517 cars, growth of 10% year on year. Sales declined by 12% in China and by 9% in Europe, but growth of 39% in the Americas, where Bentley sold 1,157 cars in the January-March period, compensated.

Chief executive, Adrian Hallmark, said: “Despite a challenging global environment, we started 2023 where we left off in 2022, with another solid set of financial figures.”
