Leather manufacturer Scottish Leather Group (SLG) won one of the Best of APLF awards at the 2023 exhibition. It picked up the Best sustainable leather prize at the awards ceremony held on the evening of March 14. The award was collected by Gareth Scott, hide procurement and by-products sales director for the group.

Winners from the other categories included:

KLF Technokimica, from Italy, for tanning process innovation

 Uyguner, from Turkey for innovation in leather finishing

Teampiel International, from Italy, in the fashion leather collection category

Wollsdorf Leather, from Austria, in the classic leather collection.
