Positive first day in Chennai

The first day of the India International Leather Fair (IILF) came to a close on February 1. There was a consensus among attendees that the high footfall reflected a positive attitude. After a two-year break, the IILF halls were busy with visitors.

With 10,000 square-metres of exhibition space, the event’s main organiser, the India Trade Promotional Organisation (ITPO), said that all the space had been allocated and that future plans to more-than double the capacity, with an additional 16,000 square-metres shared between two new halls, would allow larger stands for regular exhibitors but also provide space for new exhibitors to join in 2024.
