As part of its expansion plan in the international market, Brazil-based group Marfrig has secured five new licences to export beef: three to Indonesia, one to Canada and one to Singapore.

Its units located in Chupinguaia, in Rondônia; Tangará da Serra, in Mato Grosso, and Promissão, in São Paulo, are the first plants authorised to export beef to Indonesia.

In parallel, the company received authorisation for its Bagé plant in Rio Grande do Sul to export beef to Singapore while, at the end of 2022, its Várzea Grande unit, in Mato Grosso, received the green light to begin exporting beef to Canada.
