Awards presented to leather and footwear sector students in Milan
On January 19, a ceremony for the Italian Technology Awards 2023 took place at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan.
This initiative is an initiative that the Italian Trade Agency has put in place in collaboration with associations of the Italian Machinery Federation (Fedemacchine). It is part of a wider programme to promote Italy’s technological expertise at international level.
The leather and footwear sectors are represented by Assomac, which this year put forward four students for awards. The students were from from Mexico and the US.
To qualify for the awards, students first presented of a technical paper. On the strength of this, the four winners took part in an internship programme in Vigevano before attending the award ceremony in Milan.
