Multi-stakeholder group European Livestock Voice is to host a one-day conference as part of a livestock exhibition, Figan 2023, which takes place in Zaragoza in northern Spain at the end of March.

The conference is to take place on the morning of March 29. It will seek to examine what the future holds for the livestock industry in Europe. It will also seek to address how the European Union’s Green Deal will shape animal farming, food production and the entire value chain in Europe.

Speakers will include Frederic Leroy, an academic at Brussels Free University and a prominent supporter of the livestock and red meat sectors.
