Uruguay’s National Meat Institute (INAC) will work together with the Pasteur Institute Montevideo and the National Agricultural Research  Institute (INIA) to introduce precision technology to control parasites that affect the wellbeing and health of livestock.

The project will aim to introduce a control program for the bichera fly and, in parallel, develop a biotechnological tool for the control of the tick.
