Grasslands with cattle capture more carbon

Figures from a study in Canada suggest that grasslands that have cattle grazing on them capture substantially more carbon than cattle-free land.
Funded by the provincial government, the Saskatchewan Research initiative (SRI) is examining the capacity of grazing practices to enhance carbon capture. Results so far indicate that grasslands with cattle capture 12% more carbon than those without.
