Senior appointment at Tyson Foods

03/01/2023

Meat and leather producer Tyson Foods has announced Brady Stewart as president of the group’s fresh meats division. Mr Stewart took up the role at the start of the year, joining Tyson from Virginia-based meat group Smithfield Foods, where he was chief operating officer.

He will be responsible for strengthening the competitiveness of the company’s beef and pork businesses. Tyson has said this will come through innovation, technology, data and analytics.

Mr Stewart will replace Shane Miller in his new role but they will work side by side for part of this year to ensure a smooth transition before Mr Miller leaves Tyson after 30 years’ service.
