Argentinean leather manufacturer Sadesa has said its tannery at Lomas de Zamora, south of Buenos Aires, has renewed its Leather Working Group gold award after a new audit.

It pointed out that in the new audit the facility had received a 100% score for the physical traceability of its raw materials. It said this is an aspect that is more in demand than ever among manufacturers of footwear and leathergoods to help them attain their own sustainability goals.
