Arzignano all set for leather exhibition
Arzignano’s leather supply chain exhibition, Prossimapelle, will take place for the ninth time on December 2.
This technical exhibition is organised by the National Union of Italian Tanning Auxiliary Producers (UNPAC) and is a combination of a trade fair and hosted technical discussions to help improve the response of the Italian tanning industry to the demands of fashion brands.
This year there will be 36 exhibitors from the chemical, mechanical and service sectors.
Entrance is reserved for Italian tanners and technicians. Besides allowing for a glimpse at the innovations available for tanning and in the supply chain, the event serves to promote discussions and exchanges of opinion.
Subjects under discussion will include water purification, waste management and circularity in the tanning industry.
At the event, employment opportunities in the Vicenza tanning district will also be highlighted.
