UNIDO develops effluent treatment course in response to industry demand
The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) has launched a new online course to help leather manufacturers improve their effluent management.
UNIDO said it had developed the course in partnership with leading industry practitioners and said its aim was to help tannery managers and technicians learn “the basic principles and methods of tannery effluent treatment”.
It explained that it had decided to put the new course in place in response to demand from the leather industry.
