Polymer-bead tanning technology provider increases presence in Mexico

Polymer-bead tanning technology provider Qualus has taken steps to consolidate its presence in Mexico.
It has set up a new service centre in the heart of Mexico’s largest leather-producing area, the city of León in Guanajuato state, locating the centre at the city’s Parque Piel leather cluster.
From here, its technicians will support tanners in the region who are using its system and offer the use of its water-saving technology as a service to local leather manufacturers.
In the León district, there are approximately 500 tanneries of varying sizes working with different types of leather.
