South African fashion designer Thebe Magugu, winner of the 2019 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, has worked with one of the luxury group’s brands on a new project.

Dior chose Thebe Magugu to design a new capsule collection of bags and clothes. The capsule collection is in support of an initiative called the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project. 

Charlize Theron, the first South African to win an Oscar for acting, for her role in the 2003 crime drama Monster, created the project in 2007 to help communities fight against HIV/AIDS.
