Supplier of speciality chemicals and auxiliaries for the global leather industry Zschimmer & Schwarz has announced the appointment of a new chief operating officer (COO) on November 1.

Due to take up his position on January 1, 2023, Dr Felix Grimm will succeed Wolfgang Nowak in the role. Dr Grimm will have multi-role responsibilities at the group, including production, supply chain, purchasing and environment, health and safety at a global level.

Dr Grimm brings a wealth of experience to his appointment; he formerly held management positions in the areas of production and technology at Clariant, working in Germany, France and Switzerland.
