LHCA president to be part of leather advocacy group at COP27

The Leather and Hide Council of America has confirmed that its president, Stephen Sothmann, will travel to Egypt to take part in the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP27.

Resort location Sharm El Sheikh will host COP27; the conference will run from November 6-18.

Mr Sothmann will form part of an industry group that will advocate at the event for leather and the role of animal by-products in building a more sustainable future.
