Further senior appointment at SLG
Scottish Leather Group (SLG) has announced the appointment of Michael Carnachan as its chief operating officer.
Mr Carnachan has worked at the group since 1991 in a number of senior roles. He worked first at the group’s W.J. and W Lang Limited wet-end tannery in Paisley before moving to nearby Bridge of Weir Leather in 2009. He became Bridge of Weir’s commercial director in 2015 and it is from this position that he has moved to his new group role.
“Michael has a wealth of knowledge and experience and will continue to evolve our manufacturing strategy, ensuring we innovate and manufacture the world’s finest sustainable leather for the world’s most respected companies,” SLG said.
