Multi-stakeholder body the Leather Working Group (LWG) recently completed an audit of Sadesa’s tannery in Thailand, renewing its Gold award with a score of 96%.

This success means traceability of raw materials, social responsibility, health and safety in the workplace, treatment of effluent and waste discharges, handling, storage and management of chemicals were all areas in which the tannery was assessed positively.
