Spain’s leather exports continue on positive track
Leather exports from Spain have continued their positive trend, showing revenues for the first half of 2022 of just under €280 million, an increase of more than 25% compared to the same period in 2021.
Finished leather exports for the January-June period were €180 million, up by one-third, while semi-finished leather contributed €30.6 million to the total, growth of 19.5% year on year. Exports of raw hides brought in €68.5 million, up by 9.6%.
