Uruguay: leather scraps idea to go on show in Germany

A team from the Uruguayan division of automotive leather manufacturer Bader, a winner at the 2021 Uruguay Circular Awards, has been working on a new project with a co-operative called Bella Vela.

The project, which involves turning scraps and offcuts from leather manufacturing into material that footwear and accessories manufacturers can use, has won the support of the Uruguay-Germany Chamber of Commerce.

A team from Bella Vela will travel to Germany in October to present the project.
